Over the years the courses I have done have reflected my age and my life stage. In my 30's I studied pre and post natal fitness, as I started my early 40's it was time for me to study menopause and womens health. Both subjects absoulutely fascinate me. I'm also qualified in aqua, barefoot training, yoga, ViPR, kettlebells, Bodybalance, holistic core restore, as well as the traditional skills needed to be a Personal Trainer.
As someone with endometriosis I wanted to know how my body was going to change, could I have HRT, what could I do to help myself and get my body in best condition for the changes that were coming.
I am now going through menopause and I honestly think that what I am doing now is helping me. So I'd like to share it with you. Not just things to do, but to really help you understand your body, why things are happening. Just knowing that my spells of anxiety are due to my hormones, helps me to deal with it better. So maybe I can help you help yourself too?
There is still not enough information out there on menopause. We are only just starting to talk about it, to factor it in to the work place. Heh, we often dont even know what is going on with ourselves so how can we expect others to understand. Well, this is where it changes. We learn, we share, we support.
PS...if you think this would also help someone else please feel free to share this site. Many thanks in advance.
